CARE has started a joint WhatsApp group with healthcare professionals working at Mpongwe Mission Hospital in Zambia. The aim is to enable a continuous exchange of knowledge in nursing, even after our physical meetings on site.

The group shares experiences, questions and working methods from daily pediatric healthcare. This creates a lively dialogue where knowledge can be shared in real time – and where both local perspectives and experiences from Sweden contribute to the development of healthcare.

The WhatsApp group is a direct continuation of CARE's visit to Zambia and the collaboration established on site. By maintaining contact between healthcare teams, the exchange of knowledge lives on and is strengthened over time, while deepening relationships between hospitals.

The initiative is a concrete example of how CARE works long-term to build bridges between healthcare professionals and create mutual learning – across geographical and organizational boundaries.
