Strong engagement at CARE’s Annual Meeting
On 15 April, CARE held its annual meeting and an information evening at Villa Adolfsberg in Marieberg, Stockholm. Our partners in Zambia joined digitally, giving them the opportunity to meet CARE’s Board and discuss our work together.
Following the annual meeting, Caroline Heijde and Emily Djärv presented CARE’s collaboration with Mpongwe Mission Hospital in Zambia and shared experiences from their visit in November 2025. They spoke about the work being carried out together with the hospital staff, the needs they identified, and how the collaboration can continue to develop.
The evening was marked by strong engagement and valuable discussions about CARE’s future work. Conversations focused both on new initiatives to further strengthen the collaboration with Mpongwe Mission Hospital and on opportunities to develop new partnerships in other parts of the world where CARE’s expertise and support can make a difference.
Participants also had the opportunity to purchase handicrafts made from Zambian fabrics, with all proceeds going towards CARE’s activities. The evening concluded with food, drinks and continued conversations.
